Welcome to Poochapalooza - It's like a county fair for dogs! We are thrilled that you and your dog can join us soon for the 5th Annual outdoor dog event in Marysville showcasing pooches at their best and brightest. Poochapalooza is hosted by the Marysville Dog Owners Group (M-DOG), with key support from numerous event sponsors, dozens of pet vendors, demonstrators and hard-working Poochapalooza volunteers. We are thrilled to bring you an event sure to keep tails wagging!

No dog is too sassy, uptown, scrappy or muttly for Poochapalooza. The important thing is for you and your pooch to have a blast, knowing that all proceeds from your admission and/or donation will go toward development of off-leash dog parks in Marysville.
Host Marysville Dog Owners Group (M-DOG) is currently in the planning stages for Poochapalooza in 2011. We are hoping to bring back the largest disc-dog competition series worldwide to Marysville. The local competition as part of the 2011 Hyperflite Skyhoundz Canine Disc Championship series circuit would kick off with an exciting day of activities, where athletic canines will be seen jumping for joy - literally! The competition is open to local contestants - so unleash the champion in your dog. It's free to enter the competition. Hyperflite Skyhoundz disc championships are the most fun for dogs since the cat!
Emerald City K-9 Freestyle Dancers return!
Poochapalooza will feature Emerald City Dog Dancing demonstrations - yes, they dance! - dozens of vendor booths; interactive displays, food, prize giveaways and other activities throughout the day. While visiting Poochapalooza, snoop around for bargains on pet merchandise - dogs can always smell a good bargain, and there are plenty! Four dozen pet-related vendors, pet adoption organizations, rescue organizations and demonstrators will be on hand. But Poochapalooza is much more than browsing.
NEW - Runway Fashion Show for adoptable Pooches!
A brand new exciting attraction this year is a Runway Fashion Show featuring adoptable dogs modeling the latest glitzy and glamourous fashion wear direct from runways in Paris and New York City. Kidding. The eye-catching fashions are from closer to home from Seattle-based high fashion doggie wear designer Danita Nickles of Dmarie's Boutique and Amore Grace, with a new line of doggy tutus and wearable fashion. Rescue dogs from Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Love a Mutt and NOAH will model the ltest haute couture pet fashions from Dmarie's Boutique. Best of all, these four-legged models are adoptable on-site. So get a front-row seat and see these dogs live on the catwalk...urr...dogwalk.
NEW - Pooch Pie Eating Contest
Dogs love pie! That’s why we’re catering to their meat and dessert-loving cravings. We are looking for pooches with a hearty appetite and a desire to compete in the first-ever Poochapalooza Pie Eating Contest, sponsored and emceed by Dining Dog Café and Bakery of Edmonds and Owner Dorothy Moore. If you’re epi-“curious” about this event, bookmark this site and check back for future details.
"Best in Show" Contests
And also not to be missed, enter your dog to win in fun “best in show” contests throughout the day, including wackiest pet trick, best costume, best kisser, best voice, highest jumper, distance catch, longest ears, celebrity lookalike and other categories. Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show it’s not!
