Poochapalooza Fashions & Rescues Runway Show for pooches! A brand new exciting attraction this year is a our Fashions & Ruscues Runway Show featuring adoptable dogs modeling the latest glitzy and glamourous fashion wear direct from runways in Paris and New York City. Kidding. The eye-catching fashions are closer to home from Seattle-based high fashion doggie wear designer Danita Nickles ofDmarie's Boutique. Rescue dogs fromHomeward Pet Adoption Centerand Love a Muttwill model the pet fashions from Dmarie's Boutique andAmore Grace, with a new line of doggy tutus and wearable fashion. Best of all, these four-legged models are adoptable on-site. So get a front-row seat and see these dogs live on the catwalk...urr...dogwalk. Pooch Pie Eating Contests hosted by Dining Dog Cafe and Bakery Dogs love pie! That’s why we’re catering to their meat and dessert-loving cravings. We are looking for pooches with a hearty appetite and a desire to compete in the first-ever Poochapalooza Pie Eating Contest, sponsored and emceed by Dining Dog Café and Bakery of Edmonds and Owner Dorothy Moore. If you’re interested in entering your dog in one of two categories - big dogs and small - Fill out theonline contest entry form. Contests start at 2:45 p.m. Cost to enter is $10 per dog. Top finishers will receive blue ribbons, and each contestent will receive a gift certificate to dine at the Dining Dog Cafe.

Host Marysville Dog Owners Group (M-DOG) is currently in the planning stages for Poochapalooza in 2011. We are hoping to bring back the largest disc-dog competition series worldwide to Marysville. The local competition as part of the 2012 Hyperflite Skyhoundz Canine Disc Championship series circuit would kick off with an exciting day of activities, where athletic canines will be seen jumping for joy - literally! The competition is open to local contestants - so unleash the champion in your dog. It's free to enter the competition. Hyperflite Skyhoundz disc championships are the most fun for dogs since the cat! Poochapalooza will feature Emerald City Dog Dancing demonstrations - yes, they dance! - dozens of vendor booths; interactive displays, food, prize giveaways and other activities throughout the day. While visiting Poochapalooza, snoop around for bargains on pet merchandise - dogs can always smell a good bargain, and there are plenty! Four dozen pet-related vendors, pet adoption organizations, rescue organizations and demonstrators will be on hand. But Poochapalooza is much more than browsing.
